1 Chronicles 26–29; Psalm 127

Common Theme

God establishes and secures His kingdom through prepared, willing servants who recognize that all they have comes from Him. Leadership, worship, and work are rightly oriented when rooted in dependence on God’s provision and purpose.

Reflection Questions

  1. How does David’s preparation for Solomon’s reign show the importance of legacy and godly planning?
  2. In what ways does Psalm 127 reframe our view of success, labor, and security?

God Shot

God is the sovereign provider and builder—He gives resources, appoints leaders, grants wisdom, and ensures the success of His purposes. He is not dependent on human strength or effort but graciously invites His people to participate in His eternal plans by trusting and depending on Him.
